PHYSIOTHERAPy at home

We have opened our services to include Home Visits. We have noticed there is limited provision of home physiotherapy following a stay in hospital or recovery from surgery provided by the NHS. This service is for those who will struggle to make it into our clinic and would like some help regaining their confidence and mobility at home.  We can assess falls risk and help make recommendations to reduce this risk, provide help with mobility around the house and work with each individuals goals to help them regain independence.  We can provide home exercise plans and teach family how to help clients with their exercises, suggest walking aids if required and home adaptions to make things as safe as possible.

Our community based physio is Hannah Penney, who graduated from Southampton University and also works within the NHS. Currently we can only offer Home Visits on Fridays. 

 

Cost: 

Initial Visit - approximately 1 hour - 1 1/2 hours depending on complexity of the client and will include full assessment and treatment with recommendations.  £120 

Follow up visits - approximately 30-45 mins: £80

Travel Cost - FREE within a 5 mile radius of our Medstead clinic (GU34 5PZ) 

5.1 - 10 miles £10 travel charge

10.1 - 20 miles £20 travel charge
